2. Special precautions
(1) Players must always understand their physical health status before the game, especially sudden colds, fevers, viral infections and other diseases before the game. They also need to know their past medical history: coronary heart disease (especially myocardial infarction) , history of hypertension and family history of sudden death, etc.
(2) After winning the lottery, runners who sign up for marathon and half-marathon events must submit a physical examination report from a second-class or above hospital within 12 months or a "Pre-race Physical Examination Form for Road Runners" (see Attachment 1). The physical examination mainly includes blood pressure, conventional electrocardiogram or 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram or exercise treadmill test (one of the three is sufficient). If the blood pressure is too high or the electrocardiogram is obviously abnormal (such as significant bradycardia, etc.), a cardiac color ultrasound is required. You can choose to upload either the physical examination report issued by a second-class or above hospital or the "Pre-race Physical Examination Form for Road Runners".
(3) It should be noted that players cannot use previous completion certificates to replace physical examination reports; electrocardiograms and cardiac color Doppler ultrasound cannot replace each other.

4. Registration time and process
(1) Marathon and half-marathon registration process:
1. Phase 1: Pre-registration
Pre-registration time: 10:00 on April 2, 2024 - 17:00 on April 6, 2024. Players who are willing to be on the waiting list must check the waiting option during pre-registration to have a chance to obtain the waiting status.
2. The second stage: Winning players and lifelong players submit physical examination reports and payment
(1) Time to announce the list of winning players, lifelong players and selected candidates: 10:00 on April 7
(2) The time for submission of physical examination reports for lottery winners and lifelong players: 10:00 on April 7 to 17:00 on April 11.
(3) Payment time: Players who pass the physical examination report must complete the payment between 10:00 on April 15th and 17:00 on April 17th to be deemed as successful registration. Those who fail to pay after the due date will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their qualifications for this competition. , whose qualifications will be randomly assigned to alternate players.
3. The third stage: alternate players submit physical examination report and payment
Based on the situation in the second stage, the organizing committee will successively notify alternate players via text messages from April 18th to 30th to submit physical examination reports and pay fees until the quota is full. The specific process is as follows.

Please complete the payment within 3 days after receiving the text message. Candidates who have completed payment within the specified time will be deemed to have successfully registered. Those who fail to pay after the due date will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their qualifications.
(2) Registration process for healthy running and family running:

3. 5. For players who are not successfully placed on the waiting list, the organizing committee will refund the registration fee to the original method within 7 working days. Players can check the refund status through the original payment channel and account number.
(3) After successful payment for this competition, no refund application will be accepted.
(4) It is not recommended to participate in road running events under the following circumstances:
1. Blood pressure check (required): The blood pressure is significantly higher than the normal range: systolic blood pressure (90mmHg--130mmHg) and diastolic blood pressure (60mmHg--90mmHg), and is obviously not consistent with age.
2. Electrocardiogram examination (required): conventional electrocardiogram or 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram or exercise pedal test (choose one of the three). If the following conclusions are found, it is not recommended to participate:
(1) The heart rate is significantly outside the normal range (60-100 beats/min) and has no correlation with long-term exercise;
(2) Positive exercise treadmill test;
(3) Frequent, multi-source premature ventricular contractions or dangerous arrhythmias such as appearing in pairs, bigeminy, triplen, etc.;
(4) R-on-T syndrome;
(5) Sick sinus syndrome;
(6) Obvious signs of coronary heart disease such as myocardial ischemia and injury.
(7) Pre-excitation syndrome;
(8) Long Q-T syndrome, etc.
(5) Cardiac color ultrasound (not required): Athletes with the following diagnoses on cardiac color ultrasound are not recommended to participate in road running events:
1. Aortic dissection;
2. Pulmonary hypertension;
3. Left ventricular systolic/diastolic function is significantly reduced and inconsistent with age;
4. Obvious organic cardiac lesions such as cardiac structural abnormalities.
(6) Player self-evaluation: Players with a family history of sudden death, coronary heart disease (myocardial infarction), severe hypertension, severe diabetes, etc. are not recommended to participate.

(2) Players who can directly qualify for the competition
1. Elite players invited by the organizing committee;
2. Runners who have obtained the Lanzhou Marathon lifetime number before 2023 (inclusive);
3. New lifetime number runners for the 2024 Lanzhou Marathon: runners who have participated in a total of 8 Lanzhou Marathon events and completed the race within the cut-off time (subject to previous completion certificates) will receive the bonus when registering for the marathon event again. 4.Public welfare quota:
(1) There are 50 public welfare quotas for each of the marathon and half-marathon events of this event. The registration time is from 10:00 on April 26 to 17:00 on April 30. (2) Charity quota donation fee: RMB 1,000 per person. Athletes who apply for public welfare quotas can be exempted from the lottery and directly qualified to participate. Once the public welfare quota is confirmed, withdrawal will not be accepted.
(3) Contestants who are not allowed to register for the competition:
1. Athletes who have been banned from competition by the Chinese Athletics Association for violating track and field competition rules and relevant event regulations.
2. Players who have been banned from the competition by the organizing committee for violating the relevant regulations of various events hosted by the organizing committee and operating units.
3. According to the requirements of the "World Anti-Doping Regulations" and the "Anti-Doping Rules" of the State Sports General Administration, athletes who have submitted retirement applications or uncompleted comeback applications from the registered inspection database and inspection database are not allowed to participate in the competition. If they need to participate, they must advance in advance. Submit a written application to the Anti-Doping Center within 6 months and declare your whereabouts information in accordance with regulations to ensure that you can accept doping tests. 6. Registration information
(1) Age requirements:
1. Marathon: Over 20 years old (born before December 31, 2004).
2. Half Marathon: Over 16 years old (born before December 31, 2008).
3. Healthy Running: Aged 13 or above (born before December 31, 2011).
4. Family Run: Only those under 13 years old can register for the family run. Each group of family runs can have up to 5 people and must have at least one guardian and one child under 13 years old (born after January 1, 2012) to register.
5. For contestants under the age of 18 (born after January 1, 2007), their guardian or legal representative must sign a contestant statement.
6. Participants who are over 65 years old (born before December 31, 1959) must have the signature of their immediate family members, and the participants can decide whether to participate based on their own physical conditions. It is recommended that participants participating in the Healthy Run and Family Run undergo a physical examination (required Electrocardiogram, blood pressure, heart rate, and cardiopulmonary function examination were normal).
(2) Health requirements
Marathon is a high-intensity and long-distance competitive sport, and it is also a high-risk competitive event. It has high requirements on the physical condition of participants. Participants should be in good health and have the basis for regular running exercises or training to participate. Participants should choose appropriate events to participate based on their physical condition and ability, and have confirmed the relevant terms in the entry statement.
People with the following physical conditions are not suitable to participate in this competition:
1. Congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;
2. Hypertension and cerebrovascular disease;
3. Myocarditis and other heart diseases;
4. Patients with coronary artery disease and severe arrhythmia;
5. Diabetes in which blood sugar is too high or too low;
6. Pregnant women during pregnancy;
7. Have had a cold within two weeks before the competition day;
8. Drinking a lot of hard alcohol or lack of sleep the night before the competition;
9. Suffering from infectious diseases that have not been cured;
10. Other situations not suitable for exercise.
(3) All contestants must sign the "Healthy Participation Commitment".
7. Important instructions
(1) In order to strengthen the management of race style and discipline, the event organizing committee strictly prohibits the private transfer (selling) or accepting the transfer (buying) of qualifications, and prohibits all runners, runners, counterfeit bibs and non-race bibs from entering the race. Road competition. Once found, violators will be banned from participating in various events organized by the Lanzhou Marathon Organizing Committee for life, and will be reported to the Chinese Athletics Association for additional penalties. All consequences caused by illegal activities such as substitute running, free running, forging number bibs, etc. shall be borne by the violators themselves. If economic losses and serious impacts are caused, the organizing committee will also reserve the right to pursue legal liability of the violators.
(2) The organizing committee will conduct video surveillance of the starting point, timing points of each section, turnaround point and end point. During the competition and during competition-related activities, if one of the following problems occurs, the organizing committee will, depending on the severity of the case, impose penalties such as disqualification and results, a 1-2 year ban, and a lifetime ban, and report to the Chinese Athletics Association for additional penalties. :
1. Players carry other people’s timing chips or one player carries more than 2 (including 2) timing chips at the same time to participate in the competition (including male players carrying female players’ chips);
2. Not following the prescribed starting order and starting in a non-designated area;
3. Violation of rules at the start;
4. Complete the race in a relay manner;
5. Do not listen to dissuasion, do not stop the race after the closing time, or return to the track after exiting the race;
6. Leave the track, take a shortcut or use any means of transportation to interrupt the track;
7. Not following the regulations, passing the finish line repeatedly, or passing the finish line without completing the entire race to receive finisher medals and souvenirs;
8. Staying near the starting line and finish line or on the track (such as dancing, performing, taking photos, or other behaviors that affect other people's competition);
9. Passing the finish line without carrying your number bib as required;
10. Forge bib numbers privately, use bib numbers from other events or previous Lanzhou Marathons to pass through the finish line to receive finisher medals, etc.;
11. Tampering with or covering the number bib to compete without permission;
12. Use false age, false information or impersonate other players to register to obtain qualifications;
13. Concealing physical illness to compete;
14. Uncivilized behavior (such as open defecation, littering, etc.);
15. Disobey the instructions of the event staff, interfere with the referee's execution, fight, gather people to cause trouble and other behaviors that hinder the order of the game;
16. Other violations of competition rules and regulations. In addition to the above violators, the head referee has the right to disqualify other runners who violate the relevant regulations of World Athletics and the Chinese Athletics Association.
